Upcycled: Skirts, cushions and hankies.

I don't know if you remember this post about an Upcycling Challenge Im taking part in? I mentioned I would make some upcycled items to be auctioned off for charity. I wanted to show you what I made, which will eventually be up for auction! I will give you the date when I know..there are some other great upcycled items that you can bid on(if you want).

First, is another one of my Kitchen Linen Skirts. I really like this one, that Ive made myself one too. This one was from a vintage table cloth. It's elasticated in the waste so it can fit a size 8 to 14ish. Ive added belt loops too.

I also made this crochet cushion. The back is made with a opshopped napkin and it uses opshopped buttons to close.

I've also upcycled some pretty hankies into a bunting.

Have you done much upcycling before? Let me know if you are interested in taking part in the bidding. I will get the date for you asap! Check out Go Mumma's blog for more details!

Hope your having a lovely first week of spring. I am!

    1. Yes, it gave me extra motivation, otherwise I could have gotten lazy and put them on a huge pile of other things half made!
