The best things in life are free..or seriously cheap!

Heres some of my latest treasures! These things I either found on the side of the road, were given to me by lovely people or bought seriously cheap in opshops!

Recieved a bag of lovely clothes from lovely Mezz, this skirt was in it!
Flowers were from my mum. They pretty up my porch in a lovely way!

Found this on the side of the road..I have a few ideas for how to use it! Lots of colour is my plan!

Picked up this lovely old dolls pram off the side of the road too!

Mezz gave me this oh so cute cookie jar as a house warming gift!

Bought this cute fabric for Percy for $1. Going to make curtains for his room!

Bought these winter blankets for $1 each from opshops

$1 linen for Percy

Was so chuffed when I found this for $3!

Have you been given anything lately thats just made your day?

The butcher today also gave me a bag of free meat..but that does not make for a pretty photo!

I picked up the beautiful art from my friend today for my giveaway, so in the next couple of days, get ready to enter the competiton!

Hope your toes are warm (mine are not) and see you soon!

  2. Lovely finds (and gifts) Taz!! My free/cheap finds have been mostly garden related lately.... free bricks for garden edging, free mulch, free hay, very cheap copper logs for making a goat paddock and house with.... then some free and cheap winter blankets :) I am craving a good opshopping day but dragging three kids in often leads to meltdowns and sometimes even the kids have one too!!

  7. Totally awesome! I'll be making curtains for my boys' room soon with vintage fabrics too - but they were much more expensive sadly! At least my mum found some super cheap lining in a charity shop for me. I love what you found on the side of the road!

  8. Have just come from our local Playcentre, where they have an identical pair of those buggies...the kids love them and the toddlers try to sit in them also! Great finds. The scale almost makes weighing oneself bearable :)
